These are the rules for using Titan Guards. We wrote them in plain English so you can read them in one sitting. When you check out, you agree to them on behalf of your company.
Who we are
Titan Guards is offered by Tahoe Tech Group, LLC, a Nevada company at 770 Mays Blvd #4267, Incline Village, NV 89451. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Tahoe Tech Group, LLC. "You" means the company that buys Titan Guards. "Your people" means everyone you cover.
Titan Guards is for businesses. The person who checks out confirms they can sign up the company.
What you get
Each person you cover gets the protection described on titanguards.com, on up to two computers, including one at home. We choose the security tools, and we switch them when a better one comes out. We can change features over time, and we won't make your protection weaker overall while you're paying for it.
The companies whose tools we use today are on our vendor list.
Price and billing
You pay per person: $50 a person a month billed yearly, or $60 a person a month billed monthly. Sales tax is added in states that tax this service, and you see the exact amount at checkout before you pay.
Payments go through Link, Stripe's checkout service. Link collects the payment and the sales tax, and your card statement shows "LINK.COM* TITAN GUARDS." We never see your full card number.
Your plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. We'll email you before a yearly plan renews.
Adding and lowering people
Add people any time. You're charged right away for the rest of the current billing period. Lowering your count takes effect at your next renewal, and there's no partial credit for the people you drop mid-term.
Refunds and cancelling
First 30 days: if Titan Guards isn't right, you get every dollar back, on either plan.
Monthly plan after 30 days: cancel any time. Protection runs to the end of the month you've paid for, and that month isn't refunded.
Yearly plan after 30 days: cancel any time, and we refund every month you haven't started. The month you're in counts as used, because we pay for each person's tools at the start of every month. Protection runs to the end of that month, or we can end it the same day if you ask. The refund is the same either way.
Refunds include the sales tax you paid on the refunded amount. To cancel, email [email protected]. If you cancel through Link instead, we apply these same rules.
Your part
- Install the app on each person's computers and keep it running.
- Have your email admin approve the one connection we need.
- Tell us when someone joins or leaves.
- Before you cover someone, make sure they know their work and home computers will be protected, and that you have their OK. Each person also sees a short notice when they install the app.
- Use Titan Guards only to protect your company and your people.
Some choices stay with you and your people. If someone releases an email we held back, turns off the app, shares a password, or approves a request they shouldn't, that risk is yours. We'll still help you clean it up.
What we promise
We'll guard your people with care and skill, using the tools and team described on our site. Security lowers risk. No company can promise you'll never be breached, and we don't. Beyond what's written here, we make no other promises about Titan Guards, including any promise that it will be uninterrupted or catch every threat.
Limits on what we owe
If something goes wrong, we aren't responsible for indirect losses. That includes lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, ransom payments and time your business is down.
For any other claim, the most we'll owe you in total is what you paid us for Titan Guards in the 12 months before the claim.
These limits don't apply to losses we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, or where the law doesn't allow them.
Your data
We use your data only to protect you and run your account. Our Privacy page explains what we collect and how we handle it.
If we end service
We can pause or end service if a payment fails and isn't fixed within 14 days, or if Titan Guards is used to harm someone. If we end service for any other reason, we'll give you 30 days' notice and refund every month you haven't started.
When service ends, the app stops protecting your people and we help you uninstall it.
Changes to these terms
If we make a change that matters, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Titan Guards after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, cancel before then and the refund rules above apply.
Disputes
Nevada law governs these terms. Any lawsuit goes to the state or federal courts in Washoe County, Nevada. Before anyone files anything, we both agree to try to settle it by talking for at least 30 days.
